Transient Electromagnetics (TEM)
With this technique, an electrical field is induced in the ground. We measure the time it takes to decay which is an indication of the geology, groundwater presence, groundwater salinity and clay content.
In some cases, we may be able to tow recording equipment across the land. This allows us to survey larger areas with less interruption from farm gates, high crops or other intrusions.
This is particularly useful when designing managed aquifer recharge projects.Geo9 has access to towed systems courtesy of Groundwater Imaging.
