Expert Drill Logging
The drill log is the official record of the rock types encountered when drilling. Our geologists can assist by accurately identifying and naming rock types at the time of drilling.
This provides an accurate record on the nature of the sub-surface rocks under your property which is imperative to future groundwater exploration and provides an accurate report to your water licensing authority.
Compact Drilling Rig
Geo9 has access to a compact drill rig which can drill up to 100m with a 4 inch hole, or more typically up to 65m with a 6.5 inch hole (with 5 inch casing). Our compact rig can accompany our geologists to drill test holes as part of the exploration process and is very useful for difficult-to-access locations and for work in minerals exploration.
Drilling Companies
Geo9 has an association with a number of drillers and we may be able to recommend a driller in your area. Please contact us here if you would like us to recommend a driller that we know.
We welcome any enquiries from drillers. If you are a driller and want to talk to us about a collaboration, please contact us here.
